Redo

This is the second version of my freakshow ad.  I broke up the text into sections instead of having a complete paragraph at the bottom of the page.  I added the purple as a complementary color and enlarged the image of the two headed skeleton.

  1. Design: this is a great beginning, You have a great sense of color!!! An managed to capture the Shepard Fairey look but as your one language The basic design is very good but STILL needs work - but a little tooo open - this could be because of the colour and the negative space around the objects but most of all it is the size of the objects and text and how they can work as graphic elements that create a dynamic integrated image.
Your slogan should be bigger and bolder and in a higher contrasting colorThe different objects seem to be just plopped in the space. The bottom section of the text works graphically with the color behind the text - the they start to work as lines not just text as information – possible texture. There needs to be a bit better interaction between the object that can be gained by color – complimentary colors and repetition of shape – the text and the letters should be bigger and part of the design possible as texture or pattern. Higher contrast is needed for better clarity. Size variety is important and value needs to be pushed. Remember squint your eyes and make sure you can then read something. Good job! Make the text bigger, add repetition and also increase the size of the picture in the main area. The arrows are not distracting in fact they add movement but your text in the circles in not very clear and makes little use of the space. You need to push yourself beyond your normal comfort zone because you have so much to offer!!
